Have more questions before you can decide if you're ready? Here are some of the most frequently asked questions. Feel free to get in touch if you have any other questions or concerns.
Will there be nudity or sex?
No. There will be no on camera nudity or sex. Any intimate practices will be done with clothing on, or with the camera turned off or away. The important thing is that we can still hear each other. Sometimes I will guide you through an energy or breath practice in the session, then will assign a more hands on work as homework.
I heard kundalini energy can be dangerous. Is that true?
From what I know kundalini activation isn’t necessarily dangerous, especially when it’s gently and naturally activated, such as through chakra work and breath work and other Tantric and Taoist practices. This includes what we do in our coaching sessions. However sometimes kundalini can be activated prematurely before the body mind is ready to handle it, which can make it somewhat inconvenient. Kundalini energy can be very strong. It’s a good thing to be respectful of this and not try to force it. Sometimes it’s strong and other times it can only barely be felt. We have no control over kundalini.
Can I purchase single sessions?
No. This type of coaching needs multiple sessions in order to be optimally effective. A package of 4 sessions is considered to be an absolute minimum for this type of coaching.
What if I don’t see results?
You need to be dedicated to do the work. You create the results. I help you to gain clarity and facilitate and do my best to keep you accountable. However, you will only get out of this type of work the level of dedication and focus that you put into it, much like most things in life.
If I invest in a Dip Your Toes In (4 session package), then decide I want another package, is that possible?
Yes of course. However, knowing the number of sessions ahead of time helps me make a rough course of action plan for that particular time period.
How can I prepare for a session? Can you outline what happens?
Prepare a comfortable space where you can have as much privacy as possible. Turn off as many distractions as possible. Make sure you can access your camera and zoom with your computer or phone. This time is valuable time and as soon as it starts we will drop into the session using breath to come into the present moment. I’ll check in with you, catch up and set a direction for the session. During the session I’ll be guiding you through a variety of embodiment practices, breath work, meditations, and visualizations. At the end you will have time to describe and discuss your experience, and we will wrap up by setting up your homework to practice before our next session together.
During the session, you may need to lie down or stand up for some of the practices. It’s never a bad thing to have some extra pillows handy. If I have a specific technique that I am planning to take you through, I will let you know beforehand if you need to have pillows or anything else prepared for the session.
